Pricing
Priced by the words.
What you dictate is transcribed and polished by Speechfy’s own service, so what a plan sells is words: how many of them you can say in a month. Every plan needs an account, because that is the thing doing the counting.
Showing monthly prices. Pro costs less by the year, and the line beside it is worked out from the two numbers on this page rather than typed in.

2,000 words a month. It resets on the first, and nothing else about it changes.
The whole loop rather than a demonstration of it: hold the key, talk, and the finished sentence lands in the app your cursor was already in.

- Hold a key, speak, let go — into whatever app was in front.
- The personal dictionary: names to expect, corrections to always swap.
- One language, chosen once.
- Notes as plain Markdown files, in a folder you pick.
- An account. No card, and nothing that turns into a charge.

Pro
€9 a month
200,000 words a month — more than a working day of talking, every working day.
The whole app, for one person: every register, every language, everything you have already said, and an allowance nobody has reached by talking.
- Everything in Free, and 200,000 words a month.
- Writing registers per destination — Off, Verbatim, Clean, Formal — so a terminal never gets punctuation it did not ask for.
- A live preview while you choose one: your own sentence, rewritten four ways on screen.
- Snippets, where a short spoken trigger becomes the longer thing you would have typed.
- Every language, and Auto for the days you move between them.
- Speak one language and have it written in another.
- History: every dictation that went into another app, searchable and grouped by day.
- Usage statistics: words, days used, and how long you spent speaking them.
- Priority processing — your dictations go in front of the free queue.
- Email support, answered by the people who wrote the app.

Enterprise
What a company gets.
Talk to us priced per seat, invoiced once
Pro is one person’s app with one person’s card behind it. A company has to know who holds a seat, take one back the day somebody leaves, sign a data agreement before anyone dictates a word, and pay for all of it on one invoice. None of that is a bigger Pro, so it is not sold as one.
A person answers, within one working day.
People
- Add, remove and group people.
- Roles — admin, billing, member — granted one at a time.
- Seat assignment, and reassignment the day somebody leaves.
- Single sign-on with the identity provider you already run.
- An admin view of which seats are being used, before you renew them.
Shared words
- A team dictionary every seat inherits — product names spelled the same way by everyone.
- Shared snippets, written once and kept in one place.
Where it runs
- Every model that touches your words kept inside the EU, on request.
- No transfer outside the EEA to disclose, assess or sign clauses for.
- Named in your DPA, so it is a term of the contract and not a promise on a page.
- Priced per seat — EU-only capacity costs more than we pay for the rest.
Paperwork
- One invoice for every seat, on your payment terms.
- A DPA, signed before anyone dictates.
- A security review answered by a person.
- Help deploying to machines nobody signs into by hand.
Someone to talk to
- A named contact, not a queue.
- A first reply within one working day.
- Priority processing on every seat.

Six questions
How does billing work?
By card, monthly or yearly, and the period starts on the day you pay rather than on the first of a month. Prices here are in euro and VAT is added at the checkout where your country asks for it. Every payment leaves a receipt in your account the moment it goes through. Enterprise is the exception: one invoice for every seat, on your terms.
Can I cancel?
From your account page, in one action, without writing to anybody. Pro runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and then the account goes back to Free — it is not closed, nothing in it is deleted, and the same email signs back in if you return.
What happens when the words run out?
Dictation stops until the month turns or you move up a plan, and the app says which of the two it is waiting for rather than failing quietly. Nothing you have already written is touched: your notes, your dictionary, your snippets and your history all stay exactly as they were, and the key works again the moment the allowance resets.
Is there a refund?
Within 14 days of a payment, ask and it comes back in full — a yearly payment included, whatever you dictated in the meantime. After 14 days a monthly payment runs to the end of its month and stops there. A yearly one we will still talk about, because twelve months is a long time to be stuck with a decision you made in a minute.
What happens to my notes if I stop paying?
Nothing at all. Notes are plain Markdown files in the folder you chose, on your own disk, readable by anything that opens text — and Speechfy has never deleted one. The app keeps opening on Free and keeps showing them. What changes is how many words a month you can dictate into them.
How are Enterprise seats counted?
A seat is a person, not a machine: one person signed in on a laptop and a desktop is one seat. An admin can free a seat and give it to somebody else the same day, and the invoice counts the seats assigned on the day it is raised rather than everybody who has ever held one.
The small print
Requirements
macOS 14 or later, an account, and a connection — what you say is transcribed and polished by Speechfy’s service, which is also what counts the words in your plan. Speechfy asks for Microphone and Accessibility the first time it needs them and says what each one is for.
Which models do that work is ours to choose, and it improves without you changing anything. There is no key to bring and nothing to pick.
Refunds
Ask within 14 days of any payment and it comes back in full, a yearly one included. Write to [email protected]; there is nothing to deactivate first and nobody will ask you why.
Licence
A Pro account belongs to one person. Sign in on as many Macs as you own — the allowance follows the account, not the machine. Enterprise seats are assigned by an admin and can be handed to somebody else at any time.
